But at least I own my reality and acknowledge my vulnerability because there isn’t one woman in this competition who wouldn’t turn even the most confident alpha male into an inaudible, slack-jawed, drooling pool of putty. Sure, we can sit back in the comfort and security of our own anonymity and nitpick that Miss Romania, for instance, isn’t any more attractive than your average 20-something flight attendant but it’s not only about looks – stop laughing – it’s about the total package.

Let’s check out these superstar stunners and begin our search for who we believe will be crowned as the fairest lass, not only in the world but in the entire universe! Yes, that’s right, extraordinary extraterrestrials with big, grey, almond-shaped eyes need not apply because we’ve got 92 heavenly honeys right here, all vying to be the only 11 in a contest full of 10’s. Without further ado, here are our top five with accompanying Miss Universe odds.

Miss Thailand (+300) at BetOnline – When you take your first look at Miss Thailand you see a stone-cold stunner replete with smoky, and oh so sultry eyes, silky smooth mocha skin, and a soft cushion of pillowy lips all perfectly painted on a flawless canvas. Oh, and by the way, nothing changes on your second, third, and fourth looks either. If her body’s a Wonderland than you can call me Alice because that’s one rabbit hole into which I would happily fall. Okay, so Miss Thailand hit the genetic lottery but does that really make her worth a wager at a rather paltry +300? I would tend to think not because picking the winner in a 92-horse race should pay more than that, regardless of her pristine pedigree.

Miss Philippines (+500) at BetOnline – I present another impossibly hot, exotic beauty and welcome Miss Philippines, Gazini Ganados, aka as GG to only her closest friends, for your esteemed consideration. So, yes, GG has all the natural physical attributes to win but she’s got a bit more going for her than that. In fact, last year’s Miss Universe was Catriona Gray, the 2018 Miss Philippines and wouldn’t it be something to see back-to-back Filipina winners? But seriously what are the chances of that happening, and as drop-dead gorgeous as GG is, if you’ve ever seen Catriona Gray then you’d know that the 2019 Miss Philippines is Lou Gehrig to 2018’s Babe Ruth.

Miss USA (+600)at BetOnline – Cheslie Kryst is a licensed attorney in two states and has served as a correspondent for the television program Extra since October of 2019. Oh, and did I mention she’s a stone-cold dime? I mean can’t we go on believing that these women are far too physically flawless to be gifted with extraordinary intelligence as well? This embarrassment of riches just isn’t fair but here she is, Cheslie Kryst, shattering glass ceilings and making the rest of us feel far too mortal. She’s also got a few trends working in her favor. First and foremost, four of the last seven winners have been under 5’9” tall while four of the last six winners have been over the age of 23 ½ which is good news for the 5’6” 28-year-old African-American.

Miss Venezuela (+800)at BetOnline– Let’s face it, all of the Latinas in this competition are raven-haired head-turners who could make a man wilt with one arch of the eyebrow and a come-hither look. They are all aesthetically sublime and to place one above the other in terms of sheer beauty would be nitpicking at its highest and most judgmental form. But I’m a guy, and if it’s one thing I love more than tossing back a few cold ones, it’s ranking supermodels who would rather chew glass and wash it down with vinegar than be scrutinized by the likes of me. But rather than pedantically distinguish the ever so slight pros and cons of these preternatural beauties, let me say that Venezuela has historically fared very well in major league beauty pageants. Miss Venezuela has won eight major titles, including three Miss Universe crowns, over the last 11 years and based on what I see, this year could bring another trophy on that ever-crowded mantle.

Miss Singapore (+5000)at BetOnline – In case you think I’ve been strictly targeting the favorites; you should understand that the contestants previously discussed are only four of 15 contestants that currently have odds of +900 or lower. There were plenty of chalky chicks to choose from but those are the four that I believe have the best chance of getting crowned on Sunday night. However, now I shall turn my attention to one that is a definite longshot at Miss Universe odds of +5000 but one that also bears a striking resemblance to a young Halle Berry. It also helps that she’s an eight-year volunteer with the Red Cross and all I can think of after putting those two images together is Miss Singapore in a naughty nurse’s uniform. I’m hopeless but she’s flawless and worth a few bucks at huge odds.
