League Of Legends Worlds Winners List
'These six teams outperformed competitors from 18 countries, 29U.S. states, two Canadian provinces and Puerto Rico,' said Ido Yerushalmi, CEO ofCoderZ. 'In all, over 150,000 students participated in the CoderZLeague; amid the disruption and distress of 2020, all of themdedicated themselves to learning STEM, coding, tech literacy andsoft skills like critical thinking and collaboration as theycompeted. We are so immensely proud of them all.'
Even before the pandemic hit, CoderZ's successful engagement ofstudents in cyber robotics learning had made its virtual codingtournaments an international phenomenon. In 2019, the vast majority(98%) of surveyed educators stated that the content delivered byCoderZ League's predecessor, the CRCC, provided a foothold forcomputer science and STEM learning. And a whopping 100% reportedthat their students were engaged. 'Our model works for bothin-class and remote learning,' said Yerushalmi. 'So, no matterwhere students are, CoderZ makes robotics far more accessible tothem now and in the future.'
'Due to the pandemic, we were unable to meet in person andconstruct a physical robot, so students who wanted to continuegrowing their robotics skills were given the option ofparticipating in CoderZ,' said physics teacher Sean Martin who served as the team coach forRoboGriffins. The RoboGriffins team formed through the PhiladelphiaRobotics Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting roboticsprograms in the city's public high schools.
Most of the students on the team had previously focused on themechanical side of robotics. 'Students were eager to learn moreabout coding as it is a crucial component to our usual roboticsactivities,' Martin explained. 'What appealed to us the most aboutCoderZ was that whatever code you wrote had an instantaneous effecton the robot. There was no waiting for things to compile, and therewere no abstract exercises. You wrote a code, and immediately sawwhat the robot did as a result. The fact that the visualpresentation is as appealing as it is certainly helped too.'
The RoboGriffins team took advantage of other CoderZ offeringsbefore writing their world championship code. About 12 students onthe team also completed the Amazon Cyber Robotics Challenge. Inaddition, most of those 12 completed at least three units in eitherthe Cyber Robotics 102 curriculum or the Python Gym course.
'School closures due to COVID-19 were what led to us seeking avirtual platform like CoderZ in the first place,' said Martin. 'Youallowed us to continue our work of spreading knowledge of roboticsin spite of the lockdowns and we are very grateful for it.'
Educators who would like their students to learn or refine theircoding skills in a fun, competitive format can still sign them upfor the CoderZ League Sprint Challenge, which will run untilMarch 31, 2021.

Bongani Zungu's Rangers made history when they secured their 55th Scottish Premiership title on the weekend, but where do they and Pitso Mosimane's Al Ahly rank among the teams with the most league titles worldwide?
Click through the gallery above to see the 10 football teams with the most league titles worldwide!
Zungu was not in the squad as Rangers beat St. Mirren 3-0 on Saturday, a win that ensured they would lift their first league title in 10 years if bitter rivals Celtic failed to beat Dundee United on Sunday.
That is exactly what happened as Celtic, who had won the past nine Scottish top-flight titles in a row, played to a 0-0 draw with Dundee United.
As a consequence, Rangers secured their 55th Premiership trophy – more than any other team in Scottish football history.
The triumph, made even sweeter given that Rangers are still unbeaten in this campaign and are 20 points ahead of their rivals, was widely celebrated by Steven Gerrard and his players, with Zungu in the middle of the celebrations.
The Scottish giants have now reclaimed the throne among football's teams with the most league titles to their name after Northern Ireland side Linfield F.C. had equalled Rangers' tally of 54 accolades in the 2019/20 campaign.
Rivals Celtic remain in third spot having collected 51 Premierships in their illustrious history, while further down the ranking is Pitso Mosimane's Al Ahly, who are the most successful team on the African continent.
The Club of the Century has won the Egyptian Premier League 42 times, with Mosimane lifting the Red Devils' most recent league title shortly after he joined.
Note: English journalist Nick Harris compared the most successful clubs in terms of league titles back in 2012, and Soccer Laduma has once again updated the list. It includes leagues in countries that are ranked in FIFA's current top 100 nations and have completed at least 40 seasons.
